"Pay for 2, stay for 3" special -
this property offers the "pay for 2, stay for 3" special on weekends, "3 for 4" on long weekends, or "5 for 4" over Easter. The special can be applied to any day of arrival - if the applicable weekend rate is paid. The special does not apply in December and January.
Location - 2 Rose is located on the corner of Aster and Rose Streets, the veryNorthwest corner of the village. Across the road is national park land so all is quiet and peaceful and full of animal and bird life. Chinamans Beach is a very easy walk along Aster Street and the cafe is either a longer walk or a very easy drive.
Key Features - 2 Rose is an original Hyams cottage with many original features including a separate outside toilet that adjoins the house, an original bathroom with shower only and a 1950's fridge that you will never see elsewhere. It is easy to get back to basics with NO television or dishwasher in this cottage. For these reasons, the cottage may be too rustic for some, but it otherwise a quaint, cosy and good couple or small family option. If in doubt, please phone us to be clear about how rustic the cottage is.
Configuration - 2 Rose has a small living room, kitchen, queen bedroom, twin bedroom, and combined laundry/shower bathroom inside. The toilet is connected to the bathroom area, but you have to go outside (under cover) to access it. There is also a porch by the front door with views down Aster Street to Chinaman's beach.
Outdoors - 2 Rose has a tiled porch by the front door with views down Aster Street to Chinaman's beach. It also has a lovely lawn, perfect for an evening picnic. National Park land is across the road, so there is a real sense of being amongst nature, but within easy access of the beaches and cafe.
Heating and Cooling - 2 Rose can be opened up to catch any available breeze and is supplied with heaters, doonas and blankets for winter.
Linen - this property does not supply linen. Linen is to be supplied by you or can be arranged with a linen service which we can provide the contact number for. Should you choose to supply your own linen the following will be required: sheets (fitted and top sheet), pillow cases, bath and beach towels, hand towels, bath mats, and face cloths.
Parking - there is one (tight) parking space under a carport, plus room for one or two additional cars. Boat parking would also be possible along the shoulder of Aster Street.
Pets - 2 Rose is not pet friendly. Please contact us for a list of our many pet-friendly options.
Minimum stay -
there is a minimum two night stay for all bookings, which changes to three nights on long weekends, four nights at Easter and seven night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of the Australia Day long weekend in January.

please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable.
Special information - as the toilet is outside and only accessible through a few doors and steps, the house would not be recommended for smaller children or elderly guests..
Internet / Wi-Fi access- NBN is progressively rolling out along the South Coast of NSW. If your house does have internet and if the owner makes it available to guests, you mayuse it with no guarantee of reliability or bandwidth by us or the owner. If you bring an internet dongle with you, the best network is generally Telstra. Otherwise, use your smart phone only during your stay or find a local cafe or library that offers free wifi. If internet access is critical during you stay, please make sure that you have a Plan B.
