"Pay for 2, stay for 3" special -this property offers the "pay for 2, stay for 3" special on weekends, "3 for 4" on long weekends, or "5 for 4" over Easter. The special can be applied to any day of arrival - if the applicable weekend rate is paid. The special does not apply in December and January.
Location - Bowen is located in the heart of Huskisson. Whitesands Park and Shark Net Beach are across the road and the local cafes and restaurants are a short walk away. The nearby towns of Vincentia and Hyams Beach are a short drive away.
Key features - Bowen is a well equipped, luxury home. The double shower in the master ensuiteis sure to impress, as well the large open plan living area that flows seamlessly to the back deck.
Configuration - When you enter Bowen through the front door you will find the 4th bedroom with the tribunk immediately to your left. You then walk into the open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area that opens onto the back deck. Down the hallway you will find bedroom 3and the master bedroom, both with queen beds. There is an impressive en-suite with a double shower and walk in robe off the master bedroom. Further down the hall is thefunctional laundry, main bathroom with large bath and separate toilet, and bedroom 2 with 2 single beds.
Outdoors - Bowen has a fully fenced yard with a gate,allowing easy access to the beach and the park. The large back deck offers plenty of room for entertaining and BBQ-ing.
Linen- Linen and bath towels are provided at Bowen. Please however remember to bring your own beach towels.
Parking - There are 2 secure, underground parking spaces at Bowenas well as plenty of street parking across the road and on Duncan Street.
Pets - Sorry, Bowenis not a pet friendly property.
Heating and Cooling - There is reverse cycle ducted air conditioning at Bowen. The doors to the deck can also be opened to catch the breeze on those warmer days.
Minimum stay - there is a minimum 2 night stay for all bookings, which changes to 3 nights on long weekends, 4 nights at Easter and 7 night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of the Australia Day long weekend in January
Peak changeover day - please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable.
Internet / Wi-Fi access - please be aware that there is no ADSL in Hyams Beach and poor ADSL internet in most other areas of Jervis Bay. As a result, until the NBN is rolled out, none of our houses offers internet access. If a house has internet, you may use it but with no guarantee by us or the owner re its reliability. If you bring an internet dongle, the best network is generally Telstra. Otherwise guests go to various cafes in Huskisson, the Sanctuary Point Public Library or the St Georges Basin Country Club - all of which provide free Wi-Fi.
