"Pay for 2, stay for 3" special -this property offers the "pay for 2, stay for 3" special on weekends, "3 for 4" on long weekends, or "5 for 4" over Easter. The special can be applied to any day of arrival - if the applicable weekend rate is paid. The special does not apply in December and January.
Location -Las Olas is located towards the top of Bayview Avenue in a lovely, quiet location. It is nonetheless an easy walk down Bayview Avenue to the main beach at Hyams, or along Cyrus Street to the Hyams Beach Cafe.
Key features -Las Olas is a modern, well equipped apartment. The generous back deck is a great spot to relax whilst the BBQ is cooking. The tree top canopy helps keep the area cool during the hot summer days.
Configuration -You enter Las Olas via the stairs that are half way down the driveway. Along the verandah you will find a sliding door, which takes you into the open plan kitchen, living and dinng area. Towards the back of the living area you find the two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the second with 2 singles. There is also a European style laundry and the bathroom.
Special information- Please note that this is an upstairs apartment, and the downstairs apartment is also holiday rented. Please be mindful of your neighbours and keep noise to a minimum.
Outdoors -Las Olas has has a large back deck and a verandah running along the house. You are welcome to use the backyard, just keep in mind this is also shared with the downstairs apartment.
Linen- Linen and bath towels are provided at Las Olas. Please however remember to bring your own beach towels.
Parking - There is a parking spot to the right off the driveway. Please park your car here, the parking spot at the bottom of the drive way is resevered for the downstairs apartment.
Pets -Sorry, Las Olas is not a pet friendly property.
Heating and Cooling- There is reverse cycle air conditioning in the living area and in the master bedroom with the queen bed.
Minimum stay -there is a minimum 2 night stay for all bookings, which changes to 3 nights on long weekends, 4 nights at Easter and 7 night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of the Australia Day long weekend in January
Peak changeover day -please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable.
Internet / Wi-Fi access- please be aware that there is no ADSL in Hyams Beach and poor ADSL internet in most other areas of Jervis Bay. As a result, until the NBN is rolled out, none of our houses offers internet access. If a house has internet, you may use it but with no guarantee by us or the owner re its reliability. If you bring an internet dongle, the best network is generally Telstra. Otherwise guests go to various cafes in Huskisson, the Sanctuary Point Public Library or the St Georges Basin Country Club - all of which provide free Wi-Fi.
