This spacious, bright and light home offers excellent value for money for your family get away. The high ceilings offer space and natural light, and the entertainment area to the side of the house allows your family and friends to enjoy the outdoors whilst enjoying the views across the Basin.
"Pay for 2, stay for 3" special -this property offers the "pay for 2, stay for 3" special on weekends, "3 for 4" on long weekends, or "5 for 4" over Easter. The special can be applied to any day of arrival - if the applicable weekend rate is paid. The special does not apply in December and January.
Location - Sandy Shells is set amongst the tall gum trees where you will enjoy the peace and tranquillity with all that Erowal Bay offers. It is situated only a 200 meter or a three minute walk to the Erowal Bay boat ramp, where you can enjoy a swim, or hire one of the famous St Georges Basin paddle boats! The Erowal Bay General Store offers the best wood fired pizzas on a Friday night, and its only a ten minute walk away from your front door! Likewise, the Erowal Bay tennis courts are just a short stroll too so don't forget to bring your racket. The famous white sands of Hyams Beach are only a five minute drive away.
Key features - Sandy Shells is as good as brand new! It has been superbly renovated around the original cottage and some modern features added for your comfort. Enjoy the reverse cycle air conditioning, and the ambient electric wood fire heater.
Configuration - Sandy Shells is a freshly renovated three bedroom house. There is one queen bedroom, and two other bedrooms each supplied with a tri bunk, so comfortably sleeping eight people. A maximum of six adults and two children is ideal, due to the bunk configuration. There is one bathroom with a walk in shower. There is a large open plan dining and kitchen, with a dining table big enough to seat all guests.
Outdoors - A key feature of this property is its beautiful peaceful setting and close proximity to the waters edge. There is a gas BBQ and spacious outdoor area. The fenced yard enables the kids to play securely.
Heating and Cooling - Sandy Shells is equipped with ceiling fans and a reverse cycle air conditioning, plus an electric wood heater fire.
Linen - Linen is NOT supplied at Sandy Shells. Linen is to be supplied by you or it can be arranged with a linen service - for which we provide the contact number. Should you choose to supply your own linen the following will be required: sheets, pillow cases, bath and beach towels, hand towels, bath mats, and face cloths.
Parking - There is a carport for two vehicles, and plenty of driveway, and on street parking for your convenience. The garage is locked and not available for guest use.
Pets - Sandy Shells is not a pet friendly property. Please contact us for a list of our many pet-friendly options.
Minimum stay - There is a minimum two night stay for all bookings, which changes to three nights on long weekends, four nights at Easter and seven night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of the Australia Day long weekend in January.
Peak changeover day - Please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable.
Internet / Wi-Fi access- This property does not offer Wi-Fi. If you bring an internet dongle with you, the best network is generally Telstra. Otherwise, use your smart phone only during your stay or find a local cafe or library that offers free wifi. If internet access is critical during you stay, please make sure that you have a Plan B.
