Hyams On The Beach is a spectacular beach house designed to take full advantage of its extra wide frontage - directly overlooking the white sands of the main beach.
This well appointed home is centrally located being only just across the road from the cafe and the beach. A perfect getaway for couples, it is both comfortable and stylish.
Location - Hyams On The Beach is very centrally located in the village, immediately behind the Hyams Beach Cafe. Due to its long driveway, it still enjoys privacy and tranquility behind a secure gate, and stands atop the cliffs that separate Boat Ramp beach from main Hyams beach. The private stairs lead to the northern end of the main beach.
Key features - Hyams On The Beach is an immaculate, well appointed house that captures fantastic 180 degree views over Jervis Bay. There are also large covered decks and a lovely lawn from which views of the main beach can be enjoyed from your commanding position over the bay.
Configuration - Hyams On The Beach is set over one level. The front door leads straight into a large open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area with stunning views over the bay. A separate TV lounge is also set up. There are two queen bedrooms, one bedroom with two single beds, and a separate room that has two couches that fold down into two very comfortable double beds. If required, this room (which also contains a second kitchen and TV area) plus one of the queen rooms can be closed off as a separate unit with external door to the driveway - useful for two families. There is also an internal laundry and an outside shower on the side of the house.
Outdoors -Hyams on the Beach has a lovely rolling lawn down to Hyams Beach and a wrap around, tiled patio.
Heating and Cooling - 78 Cyrus is equipped with air-conditioning and central heating that can modify depending on the temperature outside.
Linen -Luxury linen and bath towels are provided at Hyams On The Beach. Please however bring your own beach towels.
Parking -Parking is off the street behind a secure gate, with open air parking for 2 cars.
Pets -Sorry, Hyams On The Beach is not a pet friendly property.
Minimum stay -There is a minimum 2 night stay for all bookings, which changes to 3 nights on long weekends, 4 nights at Easter and 7 night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of the Australia Day long weekend in January
Peak changeover day -Please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable.
Internet / Wi-Fi access- please be aware that there is no ADSL in Hyams Beach and poor ADSL internet in most other areas of Jervis Bay. As a result, until the NBN is rolled out, none of our houses offers internet access. If a house has internet, you may use it but with no guarantee by us or the owner re its reliability. If you bring an internet dongle, the best network is generally Telstra. Otherwise guests go to various cafes in Huskisson, the Sanctuary Point Public Library or the St Georges Basin Country Club - all of which provide free Wi-Fi.
Special information -Hyams On The Beach shares its driveway with the Hyams Beach Cafe and two other units, however they have no right to block access to the property.
