"Pay for 2, stay for 3" special -this property offers the "pay for 2, stay for 3" special on weekends, "3 for 4" on long weekends, or "5 for 4" over Easter. The special can be applied to any day of arrival - if the applicable weekend rate is paid. The special does not apply in December and January.
Location - This home is located at the southern end of Hyams Beach village in and end block on a very quiet street. It faces Hyams main beach and is adjacent to the bush but only a stroll from the cafe.
Key Features -This home has recently undergone significant updates. You will find brand new linen, a new TV and a new BBQ.All the bedrooms either upstairs or at the back of the house and all living areas are at the front facing the beach. The paved outdoor entertainment nook fronts on to a lovely little garden area where there is a bush track down to the beach.
Configuration - There are 3 bedrooms, 2 x queens and 1 x 2 singles, all with built-ins and ceiling fans, the main also having an en-suite and private balcony. There is a bath and separate laundry, and open plan kitchen and dining that overlooks the slightly sunken lounge. This gives access to the outdoors via a glass sliding door.
Outdoors - There is a lovely communal garden/lawn just beyond the paved outdoor BBQ area which has an awning. Beyond the lawn is native bush which leads down to the beautiful Hyams Beach. The property has an outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach.
Heating and Cooling - This home is complete with ceiling fans in all bedrooms and there are electric heaters in the living room and master bedroom. The property is also provided with lots of blankets to keep everyone warm and cosy during the cooler winter months.
Linen -This home does supply linen. Please however remember to bring your beach towels.
Parking - There is one single lock up garage available for use by guests, that being the third one along from the ocean side of the complex. Take care as it is not the one directly opposite your front door, but one along! A key on the guest set opens the door to the garage, and the roller door is then manually opened from inside the garage. It is best at this complex to park inside the garage as the driveway area is small and you do not want to block other guests or residents.
Pets - Sorry, this is not a pet friendly property.
Minimum stay - There is a minimum 2 night stay for all bookings, which changes to 3 nights on long weekends, 4 nights at Easter and 7 night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of the Australia Day long weekend in January
Peak changeover day - Please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable.
Internet / Wi-Fi access- please be aware that there is no ADSL in Hyams Beach and poor ADSL internet in most other areas of Jervis Bay. As a result, until the NBN is rolled out, none of our houses offers internet access. If a house has internet, you may use it but with no guarantee by us or the owner re its reliability. If you bring an internet dongle, the best network is generally Telstra. Otherwise guests go to various cafes in Huskisson, the Sanctuary Point Public Library or the St Georges Basin Country Club - all of which provide free Wi-Fi.
Special information - It is best at this complex to park inside the garage as the driveway area is small and you do not want to block other guests or residents.
