Location - Bimbadgen is located on the waterfront side of Cyrus Street and has a private staircase leading down to the beach. You have a choice of using the boat ramp beach to your left or the main beach to your right.
Key features - This classic weatherboard house has been partially renovated with modern bathrooms and a large sheltered entertaining deck facing Point Perpendicular and Bowen Island.
Configuration - Bimbadgen is a single level house with entry into the kitchen shared dining area. Off this room is also the open plan living space that leads onto the rear deck. There are three large bedrooms that sleep nine in total. Bedroom One has a queen size bed. Bedroom Two has a queen size bed as well as a large modern ensuite. Bedroom Three is the bunk room which has two bunks and a trundle, great for the kids. There is a second shared bathroom and a small internal laundry.
Outdoors - Bimbadgen offers a large lawn right down to Hyams Beach, perfect for the children and pets to run around.
Heating and Cooling - Bimbadgen has reverse cycleair-conditioning system located in the living room.
Linen - Bimbagen does not supply linen. Linen is to be supplied by the guest or to be arranged with a linen service which we can provide the contact number for. Should you choose to supply your own linen the following will be required: sheets, pillow cases, bath and beach towels, hand towels, bath mats, and face cloths.
Parking - The yard is very large and could easily accommodate four cars and a boat.
Pets - Bimbadgen is a pet friendly property.
Minimum stay - There is a minimum two night stay for all bookings, which changes to three nights on long weekends, four nights at Easter and seven night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of the Australia Day long weekend in January.
Peak changeover day -Please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable.
Special Information - Thisis an older style beach house, however is casual and comfy. Please be aware of this when booking the property which is true to the photos on the web site. The location is fantastic and the big front and rear lawn areas are perfect for the kids or your dog.
Internet / Wi-Fi access- NBN is progressively rolling out along the South Coast of NSW. If your house does have internet and if the owner makes it available to guests, you mayuse it with no guarantee of reliability or bandwidth by us or the owner. If you bring an internet dongle with you, the best network is generally Telstra. Otherwise, use your smart phone only during your stay or find a local cafe or library that offers free wifi. If internet access is critical during you stay, please make sure that you have a Plan B.
