Location and access
Erowal Bay is located on the Northern side of St Georges' Basin - a large inland body of water that flows to the ocean at Sussex Inlet.
The road access to the area is via Nowra onto Jervis Bay Road and then via Naval College Road - along the same route that takes you to Hyams Beach and Booderee National Park. The distance from Nowra to Erowal Bay is about 30 kms.
Key features and attractions
Erowal Bay is great for families with kids as the waters are generally always safe and shallow. The small, sleepy town is also safe for children and very welcoming. The general store and take away are a short walk from any part of the town.
Shallow waters of Erowal Bay provide the perfect playground for small swims, fishing and bird watching. Erowal Bay is also only a five minute drive from famous Hyams Beach and a ten minute drive to the Booderee National Park entrance.
On Golden Ponds is a stylish and comfortable waterfront property located on the St Georges Basin in peaceful Erowal Bay. The property has a large, lovely garden that runs down to the water, with kids cubby house, private jetty, and private gazebo. Unwind here!
The Lake House at Erowal Bay is a stunning waterfront property, sleeping up to 12. It is the perfect family retreat where you can escape city life in a rustic yet beautifully decorated home - a feature of which is the beautiful lounge / hearth with huge fire place! Outdoors, a lovely waterfront reserve awaits, just beyond the front fence.
The Waterfront House is a romantic and relaxed coastal getaway, perfect for couples or a small family. Inspired by Scandinavian interiors, the house is decorated in a sun bleached and salt kissed palette of white walls, natural hues and organic textures for simple waterside style. If you love clean lines, natural light and restful living areas, this indoor-outdoor house will suit you perfectly. Providing a waterfront getaway 12 months of the year, it is exactly what a beach house should be: a place to kick back. Even though the best of what Jervis Bay has to offer is only a few minutes drive away, you will be immersed in the beauty of your own waterfront.
