The house sleeps 6 in total comfort - right in the heart of Hyams and within easy walking distance of Chinamans Beach, Hyams Beach or the Hyams Beach Cafe! PLEASE NOT THAT THIS HOUSE DOES NOT HAVE A BBQ.
Where will I be?
29 on Cyrus is located on the prime waterfront strip of Hyams Beach, in an elevated position and across the road from a beach reserve. The home is within easy walking distance of Chinamans Beach (400m), Hyams Beach (150m) or the Hyams Beach Cafe (400m).
Hyams Beach is a beautiful village of only 220 houses and one cafe. A large shopping centre with Woolworths, Aldi, petrol station and various specialty stores is however an easy 5 minute drive from the property.

A visit to Hyams Beach is all about the white sand, enjoying the peace and quite of a beautiful village, and taking in the beautiful views of Jervis Bay. This comfortable and stylish home offers all of that - easy walks to the beach, a waterfront reserve location with uninterrupted views of the ocean and Point Perpendicular, and lovely, private areas either inside the house or in the back garden.
How is the property laid out?
The house is spread over two levels with two bedroom upstairs and a great, relaxing living area and one bedroom downstairs.
Upstairs - two queen bedrooms are on the upstairs level, one with lovely ocean views and balcony access. Both upstairs bedrooms share a bathroom with shower and toilet. Please note, the upstairs bedrooms of this property do not have doors on the bedrooms, however, there is a sliding door from the top of the stairs blocking off the upstairs area from the rest of the house.
Downstairs - the main level of the house has a good sized front deck overlooking the ocean, a living room and kitchen (both with great views), a large rumpus room, the third queen bedroom, a European style laundry, and the second, good sized bathroom.
Is there any special information I should be aware of?
Please note, the upstairs bedrooms of this property do not have doors on the bedrooms, however, there is a sliding door from the top of the stairs blocking off the upstairs area from the rest of the house.
What about outdoors?
29 on Cyrus has a lovely front deck overlooking Jervis Bay, a rear deck as well, and lovely gardens - as seen in the photos. There is plenty of space to relax, or for the kids to run around!
Keeping warm or keeping cool?!
This home has reverse cycle air conditioning, to keep your warm or cool - as needed! In summer, the home can also be opened up to catch any available sea breeze.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
High quality sheets and towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels though!
Toilet paper, kitchen soaps, guest soaps and some other supplies are also provided, but please be prepared to top up during your stay as needed. Regarding food, condiments and the like, please plan to bring everything you need. For safety and hygiene reasons, our houses generally do not supply food items.
Parking for cars, boats etc?
There is off street parking for 2 - 3 vehicles, one of which can be under cover.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Sorry, 29 on Cyrus is not a pet friendly property. Please ask us about our pet friendly options!
Wi-Fi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV - will I have it?
This particular property does NOT offer Wi-Fi. If you bring an internet dongle with you, the best network is generally Telstra. Otherwise, it's best to use your smartphone only during your stay or find a local cafe that offers free Wi-Fi. The Holidays Collection is committed to getting all owners to provide Wi-Fi at their property, but this is still work in progress!
What are the minimum stay rules?
There is a minimum two night stay for all bookings, which changes to three nights on long weekends, four nights at Easter and seven night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of the Australia Day long weekend in January.
Are there any special Peak Season rules?
Please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. The calendar will automatically tell you what changeover day applies, or if in doubt, give one of our friendly staff a call.
Who will I be dealing with during my stay?
This property is professionally managed by a dedicated holiday rental agency with offices in Gerringong, Hyams Beach and Bowral.
