The photos presented at the moment accurately depict the nature and style of the home, but when you come to stay there will be various improvements and added features at the home. Where will I be?
Situated on the edge of Bowral town; The Art House is the perfect base from which to explore all of the Southern Highlands. Within a few minutes drive guests can enjoy Centennial Vineyards, Peppers Craigieburn, and the Mount Gibraltar Country Club. The Bendooley Estate and Stables are also a short drive from this property.

The layout of The Art House is ideal for both family bookings and groups of wedding guests alike, with large communal spaces and a great ratio of bedrooms and bathrooms all guests will have plenty of space for mingling and plenty of privacy. Art lovers will be thrilled with the carefully curated mix of artworks and furnishings.
How is the property laid out?
All bedrooms and living areas are on one level. The highlight of the house is an enormous open plan family room, kitchen and dining area with brushbox floorboards and large butler's pantry. This area is full of feature artworks and furniture pieces including a "Tulip Table" designed by Philippe Starck. This is a fantastic gathering space and is the heart of the house. There is a second living room and a separate dining room with ample space and seating for 10 guests.
The five bedrooms are all located at one end of the house. The expansive master bedroom has a queen bed, built in wardrobes and a large ensuite with shower and freestanding cast iron bath. The further four bedrooms comprise of three queens and a twin. These rooms share a large family bathroom with cast iron bath and separate shower, there is a further separate toilet. The internal laundry with combined washer dryer also features a shower and toilet.
What about outdoors?
A long shared driveway leads down to the house, which has a very private setting. The entertaining terrace, to the rear of the property, has a retractable awning , gas barbecue and enjoys views over Bowral town and beyond.
Staying warm or keeping cool?!
The Art House has ducted air conditioning throughout (for heating and cooling), a slow combustion wood burner in the large lounge and a gas fireplace in the second lounge.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Pillows, blankets, duvets, linen and bath towels are all provided at this property. Please however bring your favourite beach towel!
Parking for cars, boats etc?
The large triple garage provides covered parking for 3 cars with further parking available on the driveway or in front of the house. Please note that this property has a sloping driveway, so take care going in and out.
Is my dog or cat welcome to stay?
Sorry, The Art House is not pet friendly. If you absolutely cannot holiday without your favourite four-legged friend click here to view our pet friendly options.
What are the minimum stay rules?
There is a minimum two night stay for all bookings, which changes to three nights on long weekends, four nights at Easter and seven night blocks during Peak Season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of January.
Are there any special Peak Season rules?
Please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We do not schedule arrivals on Public Holidays.
WiFi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV - will I have it?
This property provides complimentary WiFi and Netflix, with a house account for your use.
The WiFi password will be provided in your pre-arrival email and will be available at the property.
