Where will I be?
An idyllic locale, Sea Magic is a weatherboard cottage located beachside at the southern end of Hyams village and is only a short stroll to the Hyams Beach Cafe.
Why choose Sea Magic?
An original beachside cottage, Sea Magic has sensational views,and is nestled in manicured native gardens that hide a well constructed path leading down to the white sands of Hyams Beach. The property looks directly out towards Point Perpendicular and Bowen Island. A beautiful wood fire is in the living room for those cooler winter nights.
How is the property laid out?
With floor boards throughout, this interesting cottage has an eclectic decor and is well furnished with comfy couches and easy chairs. It is a one level property with an open lounge fronting the beachside deck where the views are nothing short of outstanding. Slip through the curtains from the living area to the master bedroom, which also takes in the same fabulous vista and has access to the deck. The second double bedroom also takes in the view and the sunny third bedroom has two singles. The fourth bedroom is a sleepout detached from the house with two single beds and a small lounge and second TV. The sleep-out has closer access to the second shower and toilet as well as the laundry which is located outside. A hot and cold outdoor shower is also located in between the laundry and annexe to rinse off the sand after your visit to the beach. There is an efficient galley style kitchen with modern appliances and an older style bathroom with some newer features.

WiFi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV - will I have it?
This property does have Wi-Fi and a username and password will be provided for that in your pre-arrival email. You may use the house Wi-Fi with no guarantee of reliability or bandwith by us or the owner. If internet acess is critical during your stay, please make sure that you have a Plan B!
What about outdoors?
Apart from the huge deck at the front of the house there are more outdoor living spaces; a sunny deck at the rear of the house and a protected side patio with BBQ. For a beach-loving family or a group of close friends this is the ultimate beach shack. Laze on the deck, pop across the sand for a quick dip or for the more energetic perhaps a run or brisk walk along the beach to navy base HMAS Creswell.
Staying warm or keeping cool?!
Sea Magic is fitted with a fireplace to keep you warm during the cooler months.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
Sea Magic supplies linen and bath towels for your stay. Please bring your own beach towels though!
Parking for cars?
There is off street parking for two cars on a circular driveway off Cyrus Street.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Sea Magic is not pet friendly. Please contact us for a list of our many pet-friendly properties!
What are the minimum stay rules?
There is a minimum two night stay for all bookings, which changes to three nights on long weekends, four nights at Easter and seven night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of the Australia Day long weekend in January.
Are there any special Peak season rules?
Please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
